Reciprocal Residency

Reciprocal Artists in Residence Programme

MAP is inviting artists, teachers, students, researchers, bodywork practitioners or anyone whose work relates to the body or movement to apply for round 2 of  its annual Reciprocal Residency program at 76 Hawdon Street for residencies between March and June 2024.

The MAP Reciprocal Residency is a fresh and fluid program that aims to be responsive to the needs of artists while creating opportunities for informal interaction with the Ōtautahi movement community and members of the public. As a Reciprocal Artist in Residence, you will be hosted by our Residencies Coordinator, who will help co-design a residency framework that supports your current work, and your aspirations for your practice.

You will be expected to reciprocate the gift economy by materialising your practice to MAP’s, and Ōtautahi’s community.
